Andre Thomas was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 19 after being identified as the suspect in the robbery of a Atomoco gas station in the 7444 block of Furnace Branch Road East the morning of Friday, Sept. 16, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Detectives say Thomas reportedly entered the gas station around 6 a.m., and attempted to purchase a tobacco product he did not have enough money for. When the clerk did not allow him to buy the product, Thomas allegedly brandished a handgun and fled the area in a mid-size sedan.

Thomas was able to be identified as a suspect and arrested for the crime at a home in the 900 block of Princeton Terrace in Glen Burnie. A search warrant of the residence revealed a black semi-automatic handgun with a drum magazine and 9mm ammunition. Police also found 1,032 grams of suspected marijuana around 8 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and 72 grams of suspected fentanyl.
